Western Warriors unchanged for crucial Pura Cup clash

Cricket '06 @ Sports Australia The WA State Selectors have today named an unchanged line up for the Western Warriors crucial Pura Cup clash with the Southern Redbacks which begins at the WACA Ground on Friday.

The Warriors will go into the match with the same 12 players that collected six points from an outright victory over New South Wales in Sydney earlier this month.

Justin Langer will again lead the team, with this week's match to be his last for Western Australia before he joins the Australian Test team in South Africa on the 10th of March.

Warriors Pura Cup Squad:
Justin Langer (Captain), Marcus North (Vice Captain), Chris Rogers, Shaun Marsh, Adam Voges, David Bandy, Luke Ronchi, Beau Casson, Brett Dorey, Steve Magoffin, Ben Edmondson and Shawn Gillies.

12th man to be named on the morning of day one.

Western Australia currently sit equal third, with New South Wales and South Australia, on the Pura Cup table with 20 points from eight matches. Queensland lead the competition with 28 points with Victoria second on 24 points.

With two matches remaining in the season the Warriors require an outright win in this week's match as well as full points against Victoria in Melbourne next month to be a chance of qualifying for the final.

The Pura Cup match begins at 10:30am local time daily.
