Tadrosse Pursues German Ambition
Melbourne Victory youngster Chris Tadrosse has secured a trial with German club KFC Uerdingen.
19 year old Tadrosse, who joined Victory 12 months ago from Blacktown City Demons in the NSW Premier
League, was involved in the Young Socceroos World Cup campaign in Holland last year together with fellow
Victory players Kristian Sarkies, Vince Lia and Adrian Leijer.
Melbourne Victory coach Ernie Merrick said the club was delighted for Tadrosse, citing the move as another
example of Melbourne Victory supporting the ambitions of its players.
“I can’t speak highly enough of Chris,” said Melbourne coach Ernie Merrick.
“He’s always the first to training and the last to leave. His work ethic is unparalleled and we wish the
lad all the very best for his trial.
“We’ve always tried to do what’s best for the players and for Melbourne Victory, and here’s another example
of a player who’s leaving with the full blessing of the club.”
Tadrosse could hardly conceal his delight at scoring an opportunity to play in Germany.
“I’m really excited about getting the chance to play in Europe,” Tadrosse said.
“Despite not getting a lot of game time, the Hyundai A-League has proven a valuable stepping stone for me,”
Tadrosse said.
“The people and facilities here at Melbourne Victory have been fantastic and I feel that I’ve matured a
great deal over the last 12 months.
“All I can do now is to put my head down and try my hardest. It’s a good opportunity to work my way up the
levels in Europe.”
Tadrosse’s agent, Eddie Krncevic, said the player had all the attributes to make it in Europe.
“Talent-wise he’s got everything,” Krncevic said.
“This is a chance for him to be in the shop window in Europe at a well supported club. I’m sure he’ll do
really well.”
Tadrosse is expected to leave for Germany on Thursday.
