Will Hazem hit 123 against the Knights?

Bulldogs team for Round 13

NRL Telstra Premiership 2006 Winger Hazem El Masri is just two tries short of Terry Lamb’s all-time record of 123 first grade tries for the Bulldogs.

Will he equal that record this Saturday night against the Andrew Johns-led Knights?

Over the years Hazem has brought tears to the eyes of many an opponent and joy to the faces of fans with his pinpoint goal kicking and his knack for finding the tryline. This is your chance to spur him on and hopefully see Bulldogs history in the making.

After 10 years and 230 games of first grade football, Hazem’s statistics are prolific. He is already the highest point scorer for the Bulldogs with 1,674 points and in Round Two this year broke the Bulldogs point-scoring record for a single game when he accrued 34 points against the West Tigers.

Hazem also holds the NRL point scoring record for a single season with 342 points, achieved in 2004 and the record for the most goals scored by a Bulldogs player in a single match with 11 against the Rabbitohs in Round 21, 2003.

In selection news, coach Steve Folkes has named his line-up for the clash.

Reni Maitua moves from the bench to starting centre in place of an injured Willie Tonga, while Trent Cutler and Billy Ngawini come up from Premier League to the interchange bench.

Tickets to the game are available through Ticketek (www.ticketek.com.au) and the Bulldogs office and Team Stores.
