Kings Decimate Archrivals
The Sydney Kings have demolished the West Sydney Razorbacks 106-74 in their highly anticipated cross city
grudge match tonight at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
After a war of words erupted mid week between the two bitter rivals it was the three time defending
champions that did all the talking on the court, dominating the weakened Razorbacks lineup from start to
finish to register their third biggest victory over the West Sydney franchise.
The massive win now sees the Kings move alongside the Adelaide 36ers atop the NBL ladder with an impressive
record of 9-2 and with the deep, young roster coach Brian Goorjian has pieced together plenty of improvement
is expected over the rest of the season.
Sydney’s depth was on show for all to see this evening with five players reaching double figures in
scoring, the most impressive being import Rolan Roberts who dominated the paint with 19 points.
Most improved player of the year candidate David Barlow enhanced his case yet again, this time picking up
16 points and eight rebounds to continue his sensational start to the season.
CJ Bruton and Luke Kendall each chipped in with a handy 13 points, while captain Jason Smith was the other
Kings player to crack double digits for the night scoring 11 points.
West Sydney new boy Adam Darragh was the pick of the bunch for the Razorbacks with 16 points off the bench,
while former King and chief Sydney protagonist Scott McGregor did his best to uphold his strong pre match
words with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

and 26 points at the three major breaks.
Sydney’s (8-2) next game is on Wednesday night at the Sydney Entertainment Centre against the streaking
