Sanjay launched his cricket-writing career with SportsAustralia.com in December 2003, when he successfully covered the Test Series between Australia and India. He is a cricket tragic and this comes as no surprise considering he was born and raised in India - a country where cricket is a religion.

Sanjay is concerned about the state of cricket in many parts of the world and strongly believes, every writer; big or small, has an important part to play in the development of the game.

Sanjay hopes to continue writing about cricket and hopes one day he can take this up on a full time basis.
