Drew Mitchell made the most of his starting opportunity, becoming Australia’s most prolific World Cup try-scorer as the Wallabies notched a 65-3 win over Uruguay at Birmingham’s Villa Park on Sunday.
Mitchell, Ben McCalman and Sean McMahon all scored doubles in a match where the Wallabies produced moments of sizzling attack, producing the highest score of the tournament thus far. With the victory, the Wallabies climbed to the top of Pool A, joining Wales on 9 points after collecting their first bonus-point win of the tournament.
Two tries in four minutes in the second half made Mitchell the nation’s most prolific World Cup try-scorer with his 12th five-pointer, overtaking Chris Latham. Read more

David Pocock proved it doesn’t matter what number he wears on his back, with a scintillating first-half performance setting up a 28-13 Wallabies Rugby World Cup victory over Fiji at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
Pocock turned in a man of the match performance at number eight, including two first-half tries off the back of rolling mauls.

The Wallabies have run out 47-10 winners over the USA Eagles in an historic Test match at Soldier Field, Chicago on Sunday morning (Australian time).
In energy-sapping conditions the Wallabies responded in emphatic fashion in the second half after a tight first half where the Americans fought back after conceding two early tries to trail by just four points at the break.
A man of the match performance from Wallabies flanker Sean McMahon helped the vistors to overpower their rivals in what was a spirited display from the home side in front of a vocal Chicago crowd. Read more

Wallabies and NSW Waratahs fullback Israel Folau has claimed the 2015 John Eales Medal, winning the award for a second consecutive year.
In just his third year in the code, Folau’s meteoric rise in Rugby has continued as he becomes just the third player in the 14-year history of the John Eales Medal to collect the major award for a second time, joining George Smith (2002, 2008) and Nathan Sharpe (2007, 2012).

In front of a packed gallery in the Qantas Hangar at Sydney Airport, Wallabies Head Coach Michael Cheika has announced his squad for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Comprising 17 forwards and 14 backs, and with over 1,200 Test caps between them, the Wallabies squad will be captained by Stephen Moore in his third consecutive Rugby World Cup.
2003 Rugby World Cup finalist Matt Giteau and Wallabies Vice-Captain Adam Ashley-Cooper will join Moore in their third Rugby World Cup campaign. Read more

The Wallabies have fallen to New Zealand 13-41 at Eden Park in Auckland on Saturday night with the Bledisloe Cup remaining in New Zealand for another year.
A late try to Israel Folau and two penalties to Quade Cooper were the only positives for the visitors on the scoreboard as they were out-muscled by the defending world champions.

The Wallabies have won the Rugby Championship and kept their campaign to win back the Bledisloe Cup alive with a thrilling 27-19 win against New Zealand in Sydney on Saturday night.
In front of 73 824 fans, the Wallabies produced yet another dominant second half performance to prevail in a see-sawing battle for their first victory over New Zealand since 2011.

The Wallabies will play their first Test match at the ‘Force Field’ (nib Stadium) when they take on Argentina next year, with 2016 full-season ticketed Western Force members having have an exclusive right to purchase the limited number of tickets available to the match.
The final Rugby Championship match on home soil for the Wallabies in 2016 will double as the inaugural Test at the rectangular venue, where Western Australian fans will experience the action closer than ever before when the Wallabies host the Pumas on Saturday, 17 September.
Test rugby will return to the venue the following season when the Wallabies host South Africa in a blockbuster 2017 Rugby Championship clash. Read more

The Wallabies have defeated Argentina 34-9 in Mendoza ensuring a blockbuster Rugby Championship showdown against New Zealand in Sydney on Saturday 8 August.
In a physical and sometimes heated encounter, the Wallabies remained patient and surged home with three second-half tries after leading 8-6 at half time.
Australia will return home equal with New Zealand on nine points on top of The Rugby Championship ladder, with both the Bledisloe Cup and Rugby Championship trophies to go on the line as the trans-Tasman rivals prepare for back-to-back clashes. Read more

Wallabies winger Henry Speight has agreed a new three-year deal with Australian Rugby that will see him remain with the Brumbies through to the end of 2018 and join the Australian Sevens Program in 2016.
The landmark deal means Speight will be available for the inaugural Sydney 7s at Allianz Stadium in February next year.
As part of the agreement between Australian Rugby and the Brumbies, Speight will combine his duties with the national Sevens program and his Super Rugby team throughout 2016. Read more
